Staré Město is located in close proximity to the town of Uherské Hradiště. Here and in its vicinity you will find plenty of tourist, cultural and sports activities. Several newly built cycle paths also pass through the Staré Město.
The most famous regular events held in the Slovácko region include the Slovácké Wine and Open Monuments Festival, the Cyril and Methodius Pilgrimage at Velehrad, the Ride of the Kings, the Michaelmas Feast with Law, the Summer Film School, the International Chess Tournament and many others.
Among other activities we can recommend sightseeing flights, parachute jumps, balloon flights, fishing, skiing, rides on the Bata Canal, or visits to wine cellars and historical monuments.
